Abstract

Study Objective: The Study analyzes the episodes of Um Haroun TV Series to form an opinion on the Jews as an example of GCC drama. Study Significance: The Study stems significance from the cause it discusses i.e., the relations between Muslims and Jews at the end of the nineteenth century across the Arabian Gulf. Dilemma: The research dilemma in this Study is reflected in unveiling the Jews image in GCC drama through analyzing the content of Um Haroun TV Series. This Study aims to recognize the key Jewish, Muslim, and Christian figures (including the most significant subjects) and analyze the image of Jewish and Muslim people in Um Haroun TV Series. The approach adopted in this Study is (qualitative research) by way of (thematic analysis). Key Results: The image of the Jewish and Muslim clerics is negative while the image of the Christian clerics is positive. Conclusions: The image of the Jewish clerics is negative, they love money, they make conspiracies and have other negative characteristics. The positive Muslim is the person who does not conduct any religious activity. For Muslims and Jewish people, religiousness does not make a positive person and Christian religious figures are better. Conduct and qualities of Muslims and Jewish extremists are identical. The Series showed in more than one scene that Palestine is an Israeli land and focused on that there is a cooperation between the English and Zionist people to help people migrate to Palestine and that the homeland is the identity, other than religion, is that which bring people together. The Study concluded that the Series has some contradictions and interjections of certain information and dialogues. The two researchers opine that it is necessary to conduct further studies on the image of the Jewish people in the Arabian drama.
