Objective: This study aimed to examine the reciprocal relationships between psychological flourishing, mindfulness, and wisdom among university students, uncovering the mediating role of wisdom in the relationship between mindfulness and psychological flourishing, and exploring the possibility of predicting psychological flourishing among university students through both mindfulness and wisdom. Methods: The study participants consisted of 452 students (a nonrandom convenience sample) from Kuwait University, with the majority being females (84.7%) and from humanities faculties (61.9%), aged between 17 and 25 years (78.5%). To achieve the objectives of the study, the Psychological Flourishing Scale by Diener and colleagues in 2010, the Wisdom Scale by Thomas and colleagues in 2017, and the Mindfulness Scale by Cardaciotto and colleagues in 2008 were used. Results: The study results revealed a statistically significant positive relationship between psychological flourishing, mindfulness, and wisdom, especially between the dimensions of wisdom and psychological flourishing. Additionally, the study found evidence of the mediating role of wisdom in the relationship between mindfulness and psychological flourishing, supporting this mediating role through multiple regression analysis and confirming the possibility of predicting psychological well-being through wisdom and mindfulness. Conclusion: Based on the research findings, the study highlighted the importance of developing wisdom in individuals through education, training, or interacting with wise individuals to benefit from their experiences and wisdom in achieving personal growth and psychological well-being. On the other hand, there is a need to focus on developing mindfulness, from an early age, which contributes to enhancing individuals' acquisition of wisdom and, consequently, fostering.
