The academic integrity and its relationship with teaching performance of the Education Faculty members in Hael University from female students’ perspective

Objectives: The study aimed to identify the degree of practicing the academic integrity by the faculty members of the Faculty of Education, Hael University and its relationship with their teaching performance. Method: A descriptive correlational approach was used in this study. Two questionnaires, for academic integrity and teaching performance, designed by the researcher, were administered to a sample of 200 female students in the Faculty of Education, Hael University. Results: The findings of the study revealed that the degree of adherence to values of the academic integrity and its areas (i.e., personal, social, educational) by the faculty members was high; the level of the faculty members’ teaching performance and its areas (i.e., planning, implementation, evaluation) was high; and there was a statistically significant, strong and direct relationship between the academic integrity and the level of teaching performance of the faculty members. Conclusion: Finally, the study recommended the necessity to reinforce the academic integrity with faculty members due to its effect on their teaching performance.
