The Research Idea is based on utilizing artificial intelligence techniques and attempting to propose their employment to improve charitable work at both Zakat House and the General Secretariat of Awqaf in the State of Kuwait. The Importance of the Research lies in the fact that charitable work in the State of Kuwait is not far from benefiting from artificial intelligence techniques; indeed, delay in employing these techniques would waste many opportunities and capabilities in serving both donors and those in need. The Research Objective is aiming to study the extent to which artificial intelligence techniques can be employed to improve charitable work by outlining proposed areas of employment that can be applied to Zakat House and the General Secretariat of Awqaf in the State of Kuwait. The research also aims to clarify the ethical controls and standards for using artificial intelligence techniques in charitable work. The Research Methodology relies on the inductive approach to arrive at proposed areas for employing artificial intelligence in charitable work in the State of Kuwait, and on the analytical approach to derive ethical controls and standards for using artificial intelligence techniques in charitable work. Among the most prominent results are the advantages of employing artificial intelligence applications in charitable work, including the ease of access to donors and beneficiaries, achieving high transparency in presenting needs without bias, while preserving the dignity of charitable work beneficiaries. Zakat House can employ artificial intelligence to improve the donor experience through a set of techniques: such as Big Data Analytics to improve fundraising and utilizing Recommendation Algorithms to provide personalized recommendations to donors based on their donation behavior. Expert Systems technology can also be utilized to improve fatwa services and automatic zakat calculation for donors. The General Secretariat of Awqaf can benefit from Smart Contract technology by simplifying and facilitating the drafting and conclusion of waqf deeds without the need for a third party, and they can be documented through Blockchain technology. Key recommendations: The necessity of benefiting from artificial intelligence techniques in improving charitable work, and working on establishing specific ethical controls and standards by supervisory authorities to ensure that no negative consequences occur in employing artificial intelligence in charitable work.
