Abstract

The study aimed to examine the relationship between organizational trust and effectiveness of knowledge management in light of the introduction of knowledge sharing as a (mediator) variable in this relationship in companies producing medicines. The study found through the survey of (96) employees responsible of senior management, and (227) employees responsible of central management of the three elements of organizational trust (benevolence-based trust, integrity-based trust, confidence-based trust) on the effectiveness of knowledge management. Also, knowledge sharing mediated partially but not fully in this relationship. The study recommended the need to recognize the managers of organizational trust and knowledge sharing, as they have a strong influence on the effectiveness of knowledge management.
