Résumé

This paper studies the topic of infographics in journalism as well as its creative and visual standards in relation to press stories that are published in Al-Quds al-Arabi newspaper. The aim is to reach a better understanding of this type of creative journalism. The paper explores the nature of the issues and topics that this type of journalism focused on and on the milestones that it has achieved. The study also reveals the methods used to represent data visually and analytically. Moreover, the artistic and visual means of attractions used are identified, and the symbols, drawings, and cartographic explanations are highlighted. Furthermore, the paper studies the lines and colours used, as well as the types of columns and lines. The research employs a descriptive methodology, in which content analysis is relied upon to determine these standards. The study concludes that infographics represent the content of topics of humanities, politics, and others using excellent technical methods to convince the reader.
