Analyzing the Relationship between Organizational Trust and Innovative Managerial Behavior: A Field Study

Abstract

This study aimed at investigating the difference in organizational trust and innovative managerial behavior for managers according to the various managerial levels, and the determinants of the relationship between organizational trust and innovative managerial behavior as a whole, in addition to the determinants of the relationship between the dimensions of both organizational trust and innovative managerial behavior. This study was conducted on a sample consisting of (204) managers working in Assiut University. The study concluded that there are no significant differences in organizational trust and innovative managerial behavior according to managerial levels. The study also proved the existence of a significant positive relationship between organizational trust and innovative managerial behavior as a whole, in addition to the existence of a significant positive relationship between the dimensions of both organizational trust and innovative managerial behavior.
