Abstract

This study sought to examine levels of job satisfaction and organizational commitment in primary care centers in Saudi Arabia. Differences in job satisfaction and organizational commitment based on personal and professional characteristics were also identified. Results indicate moderate levels of job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Highest satisfaction was with team relationships, and lowest was with pay and benefits and work environment. Significant differences in job satisfaction and commitment were found according to several personal and professional characteristics. A significant positive relationship was found between job satisfaction and organizational commitment.
